ELK Man in Black's PomPom is the beautiful medium brown female sired by CCNF Man in Black. Man in Black is unmistakably a son of Champion Fawn Herdsire, CCNF Royal Ring of Fire. With the possible exceptions of Legacy Gold and Archangel no other male in Cas-Cad-Nac has been capable of stamping both their phenotype and fleece characteristics into their offspring with such amazing consistency as Ring of Fire.
Man In Black inherited the head, heavy bone, and unmistakable presence from his paternal granddam, 5Peruvian Margarita. Then there is the silky black fleece that he inherited from his dam, Victoria. The same fleece qualities that made Victoria a multiple Champion have been passed on to Man In Black, and Man in Black has passed on to his offspring, including PomPom!
2021-Pompom recently delivered a gorgeous True Black male cria - he has heavy bone, extremely fine, bright, dense fleece and a personality to boot! Chuck will be for sale as a Fiber male summer of 2022 and will make some AMAZING yarn. His True black ULTRA Fine fleece will make a great addition to a fiber farms Repertoire.
2022-"She Got the Memo" or Blurr-was delivered in early July. This full fleeced little lady is well grown at such a young age and we can't wait to see her after cria shearing!
2023-"She's a Go Getter" or GoGo was born on 6/17/23. Density Galore on this medium brown female. She got her name as she was up, walking, and NURSING in less than 10 mins!!! We are always amazed what these animals can do. Dad is our "St Vincent by Grace". This is his first cria and he definitely passed on his density to her!
